The Asheville Tea Party PAC and the NC Fair Tax organization are co-sponsors of a congressional candidate debate on Friday March 5th, 6 PM at the Ferguson Auditorium, AB Tech in Asheville. Voters are invited to come to hear the candidates debate the issues and defend their positions.

Friday, March 19th
The Jackson County GOP Convention will be held at the
Barkers Creek Community Center on
Friday, March 19th, at 6:30 PM. Attendees are asked to bring a covered dish to share. All Jackson County GOP business is on the agenda including the election of delegates to the District and State Conventions. All announced Republican candidates for the May 4th primary and November general election have been invited and most are expected to attend. The Barkers Creek Community Center is located at
Mile Marker 79 on Highway 74 heading west towards Cherokee.

Historic Presidents Gala and Fundraiser
A Buffet Dinner Gala celebrating our U.S. patriotic traditions is planned for early spring.
Entertainment will include reinactors of Abraham Lincoln and other U.S. Founders, a raffle and patriotic auction featuring one of a kind items and other Americana collectables. The location is to be announced.

Tuesday, April 6
The Mountain High Republican Women's Club season opener and first ever luncheon and meeting will be held on Tuesday April 6th. The location and program speaker will be announced soon. Thursday, April 8th
GOP Congressional, State Legislature and County Commission candidates will participate in a forum on Thursday, April 8th, 7:00 PM at the Albert Carlton Library in Cashiers. All voters from all precincts are invited to attend to hear the candidate positions. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the candidate presentations.
